Graduation Day!!
For those of you that may not know, I have been studying at Florida Gulf Coast University in the Education Department for about 5 years now. It has been a long road. When I decided that teaching was my calling I knew that to go into a classroom full of pre-teenagers I needed to be ready. So after my BA, finishing my teaching certification, and being in the classroom. I knew that to serve the students to the best of my ability, I needed to have as much education as possible and with that I entered the Masters program for Education. This weeked on May 1, 2011 I finally graduated from my Program. It was a long road, a lot of work, but exceptionally rewarding. I feel as a teacher I want to continually better myself so I can be the best teacher I can be, and this weekend I feel I did just that!
I officially hold a Masters Degree in Education Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in English Education... MaEd for short
