Kettle Corn

Well, she did it again. A good friend of mine gave me another GREAT recipe. This time is was good ol' simplistic Kettle Corn. I love kettle corn and always thought I had to get up early and get to the Farmer's Market to get the best.... well well well that has all changed now. The recipe is simple, but the steps must be followed EXACTLY
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup kernels
1/4 cup white sugar

1. Pour the oil and kernels into the Whirly Pop
2. Set the Whirly Pop onto the stove and put on medium/low setting (I used 4)
3. Wait until you start to hear those first few kernels popping and then quickly (and I mean
quickly) open it up and pour the sugar in
3. Now stir slowly, the popping will slow because the sugar cools the oil
4. Keep stirring slowly until all the popping has stopped.
5. Take your Whirly Pop off the burner and quickly pour the popcorn into a bowl

Allow to cool and enjoy!!
Simple, Easy, and Delicious.... Gotta love Kettle Corn!!

I actually use 1/2 cup of corn, but I bet it's delicious with less. I also add the sugar at the beginning with the oil. I'll have to try your way too! My key is to add plenty of salt at the end too to balance out the sweet/salty yummy-ness!
Man...now I'm salivating!
