Soured Raw Milk?? Oh my?!

We love milk around here. We use it in cereal, recipes, and everything in between. It is the rare occasion when I will find a half gallon in the back of the refrigerator... GASP all soured and curdled!!

Yes curdled!

So instead of tossing this beautiful tasty milk into the garbage disposal I decided to use it and use it quickly!!
First I located a trusty website that I often use:
http://www.theprairiehomestead.com/2013/05/20-ways-to-use-sour-raw-milk.html

I started with her biscuit recipe:
http://www.theprairiehomestead.com/2011/02/soaked-buttermilk-biscuits.html

--I thought I took a picture, but I cannot find it now. Needless to say they were fantastic!

Then Waffles. I used the recipe on the side of the Buisquick box with the curdled milk.. of course :)
Absolutly delicious!

After the waffles I headed back to the over to make baked custard. I cannot have super sweet desserts and this is one that does not affect my arthritis.

I used this recipe from Taste of Home
http://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/baked-custard-with-cinnamon

I skipped the cinnamon since it is an irritant to me..
Overall a busy evening in the Bergel household. One half gallon of soured Raw cow's milk was used and everyone is full and happy!
