My handy Hubby!

I know this weekend is called Labor Day weekend... but my husband (Todd) really labored!!
First he took out our old, ragged, cat stained carpet and replaced it with this beautiful laminate flooring. The kicker here.... all the materials were materials left over from various other projects. So cost for this beautiful upgrade..... NOTHING!! well Todd has a sore back from the whole thing, but nothing came out of our pockets. This flooring was from a previous project and it was all going to go into the trash/landfill. Todd saw it's potential and scooped it up to save for later and later was this weekend. Isn't it just beautiful!!!

As if it weren't enough work completing an entire floor, he fixed a microwave that has been sitting in our garage, in the box, for the last few months! It is a beautiful Kenmore Over the Range Microwave from another remodel. Todd saw that he could fix the small burn mark inside and like magic it looks like new!! He can make anything work. I wish we could use it in our kitchen...anyone looking for a new microwave??

Now he is at our rental property installing a new water heater for our tenants, after the water heater he is going off to work on another project, and hopefully he will cook out for us later!
I'm just so proud of everything he does around here and thought the world of blog readers should know also.
